Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Your files and inputs never leave your device. All tools run client-side in your browser. We collect no accounts, no profiles, and no tool inputs.

2. What is processed where

• PDF, text, crypto, and file tools: 100% local. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
• Network lookups: queries you initiate are sent from your browser to public services — Google Public DNS (DNS-over-HTTPS), RDAP registries (whois), ipapi.co (IP data), and the AllOrigins relay (page fetching). These services see your IP address as any direct website visit would; they are governed by their own policies.
• Server logs: standard hosting logs (IP, timestamps, requested pages) kept for security and abuse prevention.

3. Cookies and advertising

The site is funded by advertising and uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads. Where required by law, a consent banner is shown before non-essential cookies are set.

A small localStorage entry stores your dark/light theme preference. It never leaves the browser.

4. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under GDPR, and the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing under CCPA. Because we hold almost no personal data, requests are simple: email contact@leat.io and we respond within 30 days.

5. Children and data security

The site is not directed to children under 13 (16 in the EEA). HTTPS is enforced, and since tool processing is local, the most sensitive data — your files — has no server surface to breach.
