Scale controls quality: 1.5× ≈ 144 DPI for screens, 2× ≈ 192 DPI good for sharing, 3×+ for print-quality crops. Higher scale means larger files and slower rendering — start at 2× for review copies.
PDF.js renders each page to canvas → canvas.toBlob(format, quality) → download or JSZip archive.
